I joined FOE after dropping in to check out the gym after not working out consistently for about a year, and everyone was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I love how supportive all the coaches and other members are. I look forward to coming to the gym each day, and had never felt like that about working out before joining. I have learned how important nutrition is and how much happier I am being a part of a supportive community that is there for me on good and bad days.
Don’t be intimidated by what you see online. Any person can be successful no matter what your goals are and no matter your starting point. You do not need to be “in shape” before starting!
I had been working out alone for years, and I was bored and unmotivated. I’m from Oregon, so I didn’t know a ton of people in town. I saw the ad for the FOE on-ramp on Facebook and decided it was a great opportunity to try something new and meet people! During on-ramp, the coaches and members were so welcoming and friendly! They made me feel comfortable, and it was such a fun environment to be in. Working out was finally fun again, and I really looked forward to the classes, so I decided to join.
The thing I enjoy most about FOE is the community! It’s a great culture. They provide a friendly environment that feels like a family. I’ve learned that I am capable of more than I realized! It’s hard to push yourself when you’re working out alone, but having the coaches right by your side encouraging you takes you to a whole new level.
Give it a solid try for a few months. It can be scary and challenging at first, but don’t give up.
I saw the ad for on-ramp on Facebook and thought, well, I can try it, and if I like it, I’ll look into a membership. If I don’t, I’m not out a lot of money or a large membership. After getting through on-ramp, I realized I really enjoyed the training and the people.
I love the people. We come in and get to know each other a little each time. It truly is a community. I feel I’ve learned a lot about myself, one being, I can do hard things when I put my mind to it and with excellent coaching, I’m confident enough to try.
Just try it! Find your consistency and show up. Once you’re there, put your heart in it, learn and most of all enjoy the process!
